Drew McIntyre Not Sure How He Got COVID-19

WWE confirmed earlier this week that WWE Champion Drew McIntyre contracted COVID-19 and was put in quarantine. 

It’s believed that McIntyre is one of several wrestlers from several promotions to have contracted the virus.

Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that McIntyre isn’t sure how he got the virus, as he only ever really leaves the home for work. He tested negative several days before this past Monday’s Raw. Thus, this means that he wouldn’t have spread it to the people who appeared at Legends Night.

McIntyre is still expected to defend the WWE Title against Goldberg at the Royal Rumble.
