Roman Macek, a college football player at Duquesne Univeristy, has revealed that he has received a three-year developmental deal offer from WWE. Macek also revealed that his offer came after he took part in WWE’s tryouts over WrestleMania week.

Speaking on Trib Live, Macek said this on his WWE tryout:

On his tryout offer: “Words can’t describe it, when this opportunity arose, I would’ve been remiss if I didn’t take it. I would’ve been thinking, in time, talking with my kids, ‘I wish I did this.’ No. Now I can tell them I did try out.”

On receiving his WWE development deal:  “Immediately, I started tearing up. I threw my hands in the air. I said thank you probably 400 times in the span of 10 seconds. Accepted it immediately. It was an unbelievable feeling. It felt so surreal. …This is something I wanted my entire life.”

Additionally, Macek said that WWE will need him to relocate to Florida within 60 days. However, Macek is a first-year law student at Duquesne University, with one season left at the university. As a result of this, Macek confirmed he will make an announcement on his future plans via his social media pages.
