Early NJPW iPPV #’s Are In, Ryback’s Push Continues, AJ Lee

— The NJPW King of Pro-Wrestling iPPV took place earlier this morning US time. According to AsianMMA.com, the show had a live attendance of 9,000. Word is that for the first world wide iPPV broadcast, around 51,779 watched on the Japanese website Nico Nico Douga and about 600 watched on Ustream.

— As noted yesterday here on the website, JTG had a Q&A with fans on Twitter this weekend and said he was punished by WWE for his rant about being held back and WWE not giving young talent the opportunities they deserve. He was squashed by Ryback the very next week.

— Ryback’s push continues at house shows. He wrestled in a Lumberjack match at last night’s SmackDown live event in Anaheim, California. He defeated Jinder Mahal. At one point, several heels attacked him but he threw them all off and hit his finisher on several.

— As Vince McMahon will appear on tonight’s RAW for a “State of WWE” address, AJ Lee tweeted the following over the weekend: “So I’ve been told Mr. McMahon is going to be at Raw this Monday. This is quite an interesting development.”.
