EC3 has made his support for Triple H clear, especially compared to the “ancient” Vince McMahon and Tony Khan.
McMahon retired in July, a month after stepping down as CEO and Chairman of WWE, due to ongoing investigations into alleged misconduct with employees.
Speaking on Sportskeeda’s The Wrestling Outlaws, EC3 praised The Game, who he worked with in NXT.
“Everything we are talking about, even with the cash, the creative, the complacency, and the guarantees, and we’re doing the same work in the same work weeks. There’s a new boss in town, and we have no idea how it’s gonna go and how it differs.
“I do think Triple H is a superior leader to ancient Vince and Tony, from what I know. You know, you hope so, but you’re probably right too; just because there’s a new President, sometimes the foundations and the system change. I think we give it a shot, though.”
EC3 joined WWE NXT in 2018, after previously working for WWE under the ring-name Derrick Bateman.
Despite being booked as an upper mid-carder in NXT, his run on the main roster in 2019 went poorly and he was released in 2020.
