During Saturday’s AEW Worlds End 2023 pay-per-view event, Eddie Kingston became a modern-day Triple Crown Champion by defeating Jon Moxley in the finals of the AEW Continental Classic to win the inaugural Continental Crown.
As has been the norm with Kingston, the 42-year-old wrestler once again defended the NJPW STRONG and ROH World Championships in the tournament.
Both Kingston and Moxley saw the tides turn in their favor throughout the hard-hitting match, however, it was The Mad King who ultimately reigned supreme.
Kingston blasted Moxley with a Hurriken for the pin to win the AEW Continental Classic tournament.
