Finn Balor has been engaged in a long-running feud with Edge after taking over The Judgment Day stable from him and expelling him from the group in June 2022.
Previously, Balor had challenged Edge to a face-off at WrestleMania, and the WWE Hall of Famer raised the ante by proposing a Hell in a Cell match, which was accepted by Balor. Balor then hinted that he might revive his ‘Demon’ persona for the event.
On the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, Edge directly summoned The Demon. The Rated-R Superstar declared that he wasn’t afraid of anyone and was, in fact, the devil that people should be wary of. He then urged Balor to bring the Demon, not “Finn,” to face the Devil at WrestleMania 39.
It remains to be seen whether The Demon will return at WrestleMania, as Finn Balor has not brought back the persona since his loss to Roman Reigns at WWE Extreme Rules 2021, where he suffered his first defeat as ‘The Demon.’
