As part of a recent Q&A session on Canada’s Walk Of Fame Instagram, Bret Hart recently mentioned a list of names that he would have loved to have a match with. Hart noted that his names are always different because there are so many, and revealed that Kurt Angle, CM Punk, Rey Mysterio, Bryan Danielson and Edge are some of them.
The Rated-R Superstar took to Twitter to express his gratitude for Hart’s comment, stating that it is one of the best compliments he could have received and that a match between him and The Hitman would have been special.
As Edge debuted in WWE shortly after Bret’s move to WCW, the two Canadian legends never had a singles match against each other. However, they managed to work together as a team at SummerSlam in 2010, when they were part of a team put together by John Cena to face the Nexus stable.
