Former WWE star Enzo Amore recently sat down for a shoot interview with the Title Match Network. A clip from the interview was recently released. In the clip, Amore reveals that he has blocked the phone numbers of Triple H and Vince McMahon since being released. Here’s what he had to say:
“I wouldn’t answer the phone,” said Amore. “I blocked their numbers the day I got fired. I told you I wouldn’t say anything bad about them, but you have to understand my perspective. I opened up every single show on NXT, I broke my back and took 205 Live on the road, I worked for the company for six years.
“While you may have gotten mad at me for standing up for what I believe in on a political level without ever saying anything about politics by just ex-communicating myself from the locker room of people that held wrestling court. I had to drive alone. I’m not going to sit in a car with a bunch of men and talk shit about other men.
“I’ll say it right to your face … I only hung out with 3-4 wrestlers on a regular basis but I was friends with all of them. I just chose to sit in a room by myself and write my music while you were shooting the shit about wrestling and your match.”
