WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff has said that Tony Khan has a reckless attitude when it comes to spending money for AEW.
Khan has signed several high-dollar talents to AEW, including World Champion CM Punk, Interim World Champion Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson.
Bischoff told NBC Sports Boston that Khan’s spending far surpasses what he would do in WCW.
“Tony Khan now has the ATM Eric [nickname]. That ATM Eric thing has gone a long time ago. That man is spending more money than Ted Turner would’ve ever allowed me to spend.”
The ATM Eric nickname was coined because of Bischoff’s vast amount of money during his time running WCW, which allowed him to purchase huge names like Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage.
