Vince McMahon will appear on tonight’s edition of SmackDown on FOX in his first public appearance since stepping down as CEO of WWE.
McMahon has stepped down due to an investigation into an alleged affair with an employee, and Stephanie McMahon has been appointed interim CEO and Chairwoman of the Board.
In a tweet, WWE confirmed an appearance by Vince McMahon on tonight’s broadcast.

While stepping down from his role as WWE CEO and Chairman, Vince McMahon will remain active as part of creative.
The 76-year-old promoter has vowed to respect the result of the investigation no matter the result.
