Superstars On Cards – Episode #4

In this episode, we travel back in time 30 years to the very beginning of World Championship Wrestling. This is one of the most popular WCW card sets from the 90s, featuring many classic superstars such as Sting, Sid Vicious, Ric Flair, Arn Anderson and much more. These vintage WCW cards feature the world famous yellow boarder with a 90s style design. The classic WCW logo is featured at the top left of each card, as well as a very 90s looking nameplate at the bottom of each card. There is a total of 162 exciting classic wrestling cards featured in this set, one of the largest wrestling card sets during the 90s.

This card set the essence of early 90s World Championship Wrestling in its early form. The WCW 91 Impel card set is currently valued at a price point of roughly $15 to $30 for a complete used set depending on condition. This set was perhaps the most mass produced wrestling card set in history, allowing the prices to remain low. In fact, the most expensive from this set is a holographic Sting promo card. Certain PSA certified cards from this set could possibly be priced much higher than a raw complete set. If you have this card set at home in a box gathering dust in the attic, you might want to preserve it well, as it will surely rise in value over the coming decades. Do you have a favorite card in this set? Please let us know.
