UPDATE x 2: eWrestlingNews.com can exclusively report that Teddy Hart appeared in court on Thursday morning for a hearing. The judge continued the case with no bond, setting a new court date for April 23rd, 2020 at 9AM.
UPDATE: We reported earlier today that Teddy Hart is back in jail. According to Pwinsider, Hart was arrested for a violation of his house arrest. There is a court hearing set for later this morning at 9AM EST.
Hart was arrested at 1:53 PM and booked into the Richmond City Jail at 3:04 PM.
ORIGINAL: Teddy Hart is back in jail in Richmond, Virginia. Hart was booked into the Richmond County Jail at 3:04 PM EST today. As of this writing, there is no word on why he’s back behind bars.
As many of you know, Hart was arrested last month and charged with possession, possession of a Schedule III controlled substance, and possession with intent to sell and distribute. He was also cited for not carrying/exhibiting his registration card or license, improperly mounted license plates, failure to use lights with wipers.
Hart later claimed he was pulled over due to his license plate not matching the registration for the car he was driving. When police officers searched the car, they found marijuana and steroids.
