Finn Balor was a guest on last night’s special preview of FS1’s WWE Backstage following Friday Night Smackdown. During his appearance, Balor would discuss his return to NXT and comment on his attack on Johnny Gargano and state “Let’s just say The Prince is back”, in regards to his heel turn.
During the interview, Balor would compare Raw & Smackdown to Hollywood movies like the Avengers, claiming it’s easy to hide behind the special effects and bright lights. He would go on to say that “NXT is more like a broadway, there’s nowhere to hide”. Finn Balor would tell WWE Backstage hosts Renee Young and Booker T that he needed to test himself when elaborating on his return to NXT.
Balor then explained how it felt good returning to NXT, but it felt even better seeing Johnny Gargano on the ground after his recent attack on the latest episode of NXT.
