During a recent interview with the “Kris Fade Show” to promote his appearance at the Special Olympics World Games, WWE Superstar Finn Balor commented on his WrestleMania 35 match, and more. You can check out some highlights below:
On his match at WrestleMania: “Well, I would really love to fight Undertaker at WrestleMania but given the fact that I lost the [Intercontinental] Title on Monday, I think I’m gonna attempt to convince Stephanie [McMahon], who I know is here at the World Games, to get me a rematch against Bobby Lashley for the IC Title.”
On appearing at the Special Olympics World Games 2019: “Yeah, I think I’m more nervous walking out Team Ireland than I was walking out at WrestleMania last year, so it’s gonna be a big one for me…the WWE office out here have informed me that there’s some sort of secret event happening that I’m gonna be heavily involved in in this opening ceremony, maybe.”
On his ‘Thirty-Five For 35’ special: I”m actually shooting a documentary right now with WWE called ‘Thirty-five For 35.’ One of WWE’s employees is trying to lose thirty-five pounds before WrestleMania 35. So that’s gonna be launching around WrestleMania…he’s gonna knock it out of the park.”
On his training regime and his upcoming documentary: “Well, it’s not a regime, I just fit it in when I can. But really, the key is consistency over twenty years, you know. It’s not like something that happens overnight…all these kind of crash diets and fad diets, I don’t think really [work]. They don’t work for me, anyway. I just find consistency is the key for me, of getting up and doing it every day.”
