During Sunday night’s WWE NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day pay-per-view event, NXT World Champion Finn Balor successfully defended the NXT World title by defeating Pete Dunne.
Following the match, Oney Larcan and Danny Burch jumped Balor. The Undisputed Era came down to run off The Kings of NXT. O’Reilly extended his hand to Balor, and after a brief hesitation, Balor accepted his handshake. Adam Cole would then drop Balor with a Superkick. After an argument between O’Reilly and Roderick Strong, Cole would drop O’Reilly with a Superkick. Cole would tell Strong to leave the ringside area, leaving Strong looking confused and conflicted, as the show came to a close. Looks like this is indeed the end of an era (pun intended), as The Undisputed Era appear to be splitting up.
