As seen during Wednesday night’s WWE NXT broadcast, Velveteen Dream got a win and advanced to the NXT Takeover XXX Ladder Match for the NXT North American Championship. Many people weren’t happy about Dream’s win and the term #FireVelveteenDream was trending after the show. As of this writing, it is still trending.
Many people are upset due to some recent accusations of grooming and sexual misconduct with underage boys. Several fans have posted nude photos and cell phone audio that Dream reportedly sent them. Following the #SpeakingOut movement, Dream was taken off TV. Triple H claims his absence was due to a car accident he was involved in. For some reason, it seems like he’s being protected and now pushed. Triple H claims WWE investigated the matter and “found nothing”.
I’m going to put this out here again. Here is a video I took of the conversation I had with Patrick Clark (Velveteen Dream) on April 24th. I’ve seen what Triple H has said and I’ve had no communication with them. I have went to police and they haven’t followed up with me pic.twitter.com/wm1xGjs2Cv

Being a PREDATOR overshadows character or in-ring work ANY day.
With as much evidence that there is, it sick that WWE allows him to keep his job.
Do better @WWE @TripleH #FireVelveteenDream

How are you going to push Dream without even telling us how you investigated him? When more claims proof comes out, "WWE NXT Champion Velveteen Dream once again under investigation for sexual misconduct and pedophilia claims" won't look good as a headline. #FireVelveteenDream

Odd that WWE can take all three members of a trio off TV for the political views of a single member but a guy who has been accused, quite credibly from the looks of it, of being a pedophile not only is on TV but is getting a title shot. #FireVelveteenDream
