Former WWE writer Brian Gewirtz recently took to Twitter after watching Avengers: Endgame compares the length of the Marvel movie to that of WrestleMania.
It’s fair to say that the biggest swipe against this year’s WrestleMania was how long the show felt. The main event match began around midnight Eastern Time.
In his tweet, Brian also praised the character development of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and said that it was time for WrestleMania to show what it can do with a shorter amount of time:
#AvengersEndgame just proved you can be action packed, funny, emotional, intense with a gigantic cast and still clock in at just three hours. Your move Wrestlemania.

It wasn’t! Look, I’m pro WWE for life just IMO, a 3 hour show of the top top stuff is better than making it a marathon. What deserves to be on > who deserves to be on, though often they’re the same. What I’m saying is we should’ve cut Chester McCheeserton in WM2000. #Growth https://t.co/bTRbSY2boh
