Former Impact Wrestling star Gunner made his NXT debut at the live event in St. Petersburg, FL on Thursday night. He wrestled No Way Jose in a singles match at the event.
He noted in May on Twitter that he almost “hung it up” but that it’s now “time to TakeOver,” which led to speculation that he had signed with WWE to work in NXT. Since he departed from Impact Wrestling in June of 2015, he had been working on the indy scene.
