Daniel Cormier and Brock Lesnar got into a scuffle at UFC 226 when “The Beast” initiated a shoving match at the pay-per-view (PPV) event. One of Cormier’s teammates, former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold, was also inside the cage during the altercation.
He recently told Submission Radio that had “DC” not maintained his composure, he might have jumped Lesnar (via LowKickMMA):
“I was trying to judge Brock,” Rockhold said. “Brock was coming in hot and pushing ‘DC’ but ‘DC’ kept his composure and he was trying to laugh it off, so… I was trying to judge the situation because I was about to pull a Diaz brother and jump on his back and kick Brock in the head.”
