Add Lina Fanene (Nia Jax in WWE) to the list of former WWE Superstars that have pulled out of the upcoming Wrestling Entertainment Series (WES) event. WES will be holding their first show on July 9th in Nottingham, England.
Fanene took to Twitter to warn fans about buying a ticket to the show in anticipation of seeing the former RAW Women’s Champion. She wrote,
I do not know why I am still on this poster, but I will REPEAT myself again…I will NOT be at the show. Please do not buy a ticket thinking you will see me perform or get a chance to meet me. I hate that this misleads people! https://t.co/4yTAhHeWbX

The show has been fraught with complications since its announcement, including the removal of CJ Perry (Lana) and Matthew Rehwoldt (Aiden English) from the show. Rehwoldt was especially vocal with his doubt about the show’s viability. The WES event, originally scheduled to take place on June 4, was delayed to this coming weekend because of the Diamond Jubilee festivities planned for Queen Elizabeth. Fanene becomes the latest to remove herself from the show.
