Despite a rumor that was circulating online this past week that Gedo had quit NJPW as their head booker, that doesn’t appear to be the case. Miruhon.net first reported the rumor and it was was later shared on Twitter by Purolove.com owner @Strigga.
Gedo himself is telling friends that the rumor is false. Also, Dave Meltzer is reporting that if Gedo had quit NJPW at last Sunday’s Dominion event, people would’ve known about it and announced it.
Gedo was reportedly talking to people backstage about angles for NJPW in nine months to a year from now and that wouldn’t have been the case if he was quitting the company.
