Go-Home SummerSlam Episode Of WWE SmackDown Disappoints In The Ratings

WWE SmackDown’s go-home show before SummerSlam featured Sheamus vs. Drew McIntyre, a surprise appearance from Brock Lesnar, and more. SpoilerTV has revealed that the ratings declined from last week’s episode.

The average viewership for last night’s episode was 2.060 million viewers, with 2.104 in the first hour and 2.016 in the second. For comparison, last week’s episode of SmackDown averaged about 2.256 million. The P18-49 demo averaged a 0.4 rating.

Last night’s episode was the first WWE SmackDown under the new head of creative, Triple H. The show also featured Ronda Rousey and SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan in a tag team match.

The final rating numbers for SmackDown will be released on Monday.
