WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg has said that it’s “highly possible” that his son Gage will become a wrestler one day.
Fans first saw Gage at Survivor Series 2016, after his father defeated Brock Lesnar, and the 15-year-old had a more prominent role during Goldberg’s feud with Bobby Lashley last year.
On the “After the Bell” podcast, Goldberg told Corey Graves that he could see Gage become a WWE Superstar, saying:
“It is highly possible that that will hopefully be an option for him, I do believe it’s bred in him to have the love and passion for sports. The physicality of football, the physicality of playing catcher, and wrestling… they’re all the same. It’s all about opportunities. I want him to follow his dream.”
Goldberg will challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at tomorrow’s Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event.
