Current WWE Universal Champion Goldberg showed up to his son, Gage Goldberg’s class with the WWE Universal Championship. Most fans have stated since Goldberg’s return match, that the reason WWE was pushing the current champion so forcefully was so that his son could see his dad dominate the ranks of WWE.
The 10-year old’s class received a huge surprise in the form of Gage’s dad.
Here is what Goldberg had to say on Edge & Christian’s Podcast about the surprise.
“I took the Universal title to my son’s class, this will encapsulate my entire experience — let’s be honest, my son thinks I’m a drill sergeant with a heart. My job is not to be his buddy. My job is to a very responsible parent, rearing and raising a very responsible adult. But the love and the admiration and the joy that I saw in my son’s eyes as I stood in front of his class with this Universal title, it was like time had stopped. It was the coolest thing ever.”
