Goldberg Weighs In On Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar At SummerSlam

Goldberg has weighed in on who will walk away as the last man standing at SummerSlam.

WWE announced that Brock Lesnar would challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Universal Championship at SummerSlam. While their previous match at WrestleMania was a standard matchup, the stakes are higher this time as their next match will be Last Man Standing. One person with a history with both men is former Universal Champion Goldberg.

During his appearance on NFL Network’s Good Morning Football, the Hall of Famer made a bold decision on who he thinks will walk away as the last man standing. Goldberg’s final match in WWE was against Reigns at the Elimination Chamber event in February.

“Put me on the spot, right? You know, I gotta go Big Boy. I gotta go Brock. You never know what’s going to happen when Brock gets in the ring with anybody, let alone Roman. We’ve seen it a couple of times. But no matter how many times you’ve seen those two go at it, there’s always going to be something new, always going to be something exciting.”

Lesnar returned to RAW last week and gave Alpha Academy’s Otis an F5 through the announce table. The Beast Incarnate is set to appear on this Friday’s edition of SmackDown.
