Late last year, former WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns announced that he is once again battling leukemia. As a result, he relinquished his Universal Championship and took some time away from the company. He has been enjoying time with his family and focusing on his health. However, we have some good news to pass along regarding Roman Reigns’ health.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio reports that he spoke to a doctor about Reigns’ leukemia. The fact that he is currently filming a movie, “Hobbs & Shaw,” with The Rock is a good sign. With Reigns filming a movie so soon after his diagnosis, it could mean that the WWE star’s leukemia is “not a deadly form” and “with that form he would be wrestling soon.”
With that being said, Reigns could be back earlier than expected. It should be noted that no timeframe was given for Reigns’ return when he first announced his hiatus. We wish him all the best in his recovery.
