During Saturday’s WWE Clash at the Castle 2022 pay-per-view event, Gunther defeated Sheamus to retain his WWE Intercontinental Championship.
In a brutal, hard-hitting match, Gunther came out with the newly reformed Imperium. Ludwig Kaiser and the group’s newest member, Giovani Vinci, were also there.
The finish of the match came when Gunther hit Sheamus with a Lariat to retain his IC title. Following the match, Sheamus received a standing ovation from the UK crowd.
