According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, no one from WWE has tested positive for the coronavirus as of Thursday.
With that being said, that doesn’t mean some of them may not have it. As you’ve likely seen on the news, asymptomatic people can walk around for days without knowing they have the virus. Also, there is very limited testing available these days so many of them haven’t even been able to be tested. Despite many sports and entertainment companies shutting down for now, WWE was still holding shows as of last week. They’ve got SmackDown, WrestleMania 36, and next week’s RAW and NXT already taped. What happens beyond those shows remains to be seen, especially with almost every state in America issuing “Stay at Home” orders.
WWE has taken precautions with high-risk talent such as Jerry Lawler and Roman Reigns. Lawler wasn’t at the TV tapings and Reigns was pulled from WrestleMania 36.
