The HBO Max series “Hacks” has acknowledged both Roman Reigns and AEW.
During Thursday night’s episode of the show, which was titled “Trust The Process,” a segment aired where Marcus (actor Carl Clemons-Hopkins) and his mother Robin (actress Angela Elayne Gibb) were discussing Marcus’ ex-boyfriend.
In the clip, which you can see below, Robin revealed that she had taken an interest in his ex-boyfriend and asked,
“If Roman Reigns ever goes to AEW, can I at least DM him?”
It’s worth noting that the timing is interesting here as there have been rumors for months now that AEW President Tony Khan has been in talks with HBO Max for some sort of streaming deal.
