According to a story on ESPN, former WWE Champion Kurt Angle is set to headline the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame. Kurt Angle is one of seven superstars in WWE history to have won every major title (WWE Title, US Title, Intercontinental Title, Tag Title) and has been rumored to be returning to WWE this year.
According to 24Wrestling, Kurt Angle isn’t being booked for the Royal Rumble and that there haven’t been any talks between the two sides as of yet, despite a report out that said Kurt Angle wouldn’t be taking future Indy dates because of WWE commitments. Kurt Angle last appeared for WWE in 2006 before leaving for TNA. He has recently been working independent events.
