During the latest episode of Impact Wrestling, Heath signed his contract (in storyline) with the company. This rounded off a story that started back at Slammiversary 2020 and was picked back up following Heath’s recent return from injury.
Just before the signing of his contract, Heath had one more request – a match with Rhino against Violent by Design at Bound for Glory. Impact’s Scott D’Amore agreed to sanction the bout, but expressed his doubts over whether Rhino would team with Heath against VBD at the event. Rhino was a member of the VBD stable for multiple months however he was kicked out of the group on the September 16th episode of Impact. Heath made it clear that he would compete at the show even if Rhino was not by his side.
It's been a long road but @HEATHXXII finally has his IMPACT contract.
However he has one more request of @ScottDAmore – Heath wants a tag team match against Violent By Design at #BoundForGlory and he hopes @Rhyno313 will be his partner. #IMPACTonAXSTV pic.twitter.com/fprruR8IqK
