Because of COVID-19, WWE had to cancel this year’s Hall of Fame ceremony in addition to WrestleMania 36.

Now, the company plans to use this year’s class as next year’s class. Bulldog, Batista, the nWo (Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Sean Waltman), JBL, The Bella Twins, and Jushin Thunder Liger had been announced for the 2020 Class.

WrestleVotes sent out the following on Thursday:

“WWE’s plan regarding the 2020 Hall of Fame was to do it at a corresponding PPV once fans returned, ideally SummerSlam. That obviously didn’t happen. With no fans until November at the earliest, the plan is now to induct the 2020 class as the class of 2021 during WrestleMania 37.”
