During Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Hikaru Shida was attacked by Serena Deeb after she hit her multiple times over her knee with a kendo stick. This was done to write her out of storyline plans for the time being.
Shida has since taken to Twitter to reveal that she’ll be returning Japan for a little bit. She said,
“I’m so sorry that the last match before I go back to Japan had to end like that. I had a lot of things I wanted to do in Japan, but now I will rest my leg as much as I can. I’LL BE BACK.”
