The debut of Hook has been a trending topic on social media since the conclusion of the AEW television tapings on Wednesday evening.
As noted, Taz announced during this week’s AEW Dynamite show that he had some breaking news, which ended up being the announcement that his son, Team Taz member Hook, would be making his debut on this week’s AEW Rampage show on Friday night.
With this week’s AEW Rampage show being taped at the UBS Arena at Belmont Park in Long Island, New York last night, the debut is in the books and will air on Friday night’s broadcast on TNT.
As advertised, he will be taking on masked fan-favorite Fuego Del Sol in singles action. Video footage of Hook’s ring entrance at the AEW Rampage taping has surfaced on social media, and features the Team Taz member making his way to the ring to the Action Bronson single, “The Chairman’s Intent.”
The theme and the entrance has been a hot topic on Twitter, with fans praising the choice of song for the 22-year old prospect.
