In a WWE digital exclusive, Kayla Braxton informed Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville that they would have an opportunity to earn the right to challenge Asuka at WrestleMania 35 for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
Mandy and Sonya will be involved in a Fatal 4-Way match, which will also feature Naomi and Carmella, where the winner will challenge Asuka at Wrestlemania.
Previously, it was rumored that Lacey Evans may get the match for the smackdown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania. Sometime last week, reports started to come out saying that plans have changed, and it appears that Lacey is no longer in the running.
The brief video tried to play up the tension between Mandy and Sonya as a result of Mandy’s loss to Asuka at Fastlane.
