Following the recent reports on Pro Wrestling Tees (PWT) data breach, more information has now come to light. This includes the number of people affected, as well as when exactly the breach occurred.
A recent report from Fightful has revealed that according to the Office of the Maine Attorney General, the actual date that the data breach happened was April 1st. PWT was then not informed of the breach until November 1st, when law enforcement got in touch to tell them the news. With PWT themselves then not informing their customers until December 18th, due to it being a part of an ongoing law investigation. As a result of this, the affected customers would not find out till over eight months after their data was breached.
Finally, the report notes that a total of 31,000 customers were affected in the breach.
