Both Fightful Select and the Wrestling Observer are reporting that WWE talents are less than thrilled about the news that Bruce Prichard will be stepping in as the interim Head of Talent Relations with John Laurinaitis being put on administrative leave.
Laurinaitis was put on leave after allegations of sexual misconduct, along with Vince McMahon. In regards to Prichard being named interim Head of Talent Relations, Fightful spoke to someone who joked, “Vince only knows three people,” in regards to stacking both Prichard and Laurinaitis with several jobs despite having a huge team at his disposal.
Dave Meltzer added that the move is “not necessarily well-received” by the locker room. However, the belief is also that Laurinaitis is “as good as gone,” with some even celebrating.
On an unrelated note, Vince McMahon was once again in a very good mood backstage at last night’s RAW. He actually made a surprise appearance on the show to hype up John Cena’s return next week.
