With the mystery of Zack Sabre Jr.’s opponent at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door still unknown, one big name has ruled himself out.
While speaking to Sports Illustrated earlier this week, Kenny Omega confirmed that he won’t be returning from injury to face Sabre Jr. However, Omega revealed that he believes the fans will not be disappointed.
“I can safely say there is zero chance it will be me,” Omega would say. “But the replacement is going to leave people very happy. I can’t see people being disappointed by this legitimately handpicked replacement by Bryan Danielson.”
