This will mark the third pay-per-view in a row where Belair will defend her championship against Bayley, after meeting at both WrestleMania Backlash and Hell in a Cell.
It will mark the first time an “I Quit” match has happened at a Money in the Bank pay-per-view. It will also be only the third time the stipulation has been used in a contest between two female superstars. The two previous encounters were Beth Phoenix vs Melina at One Night Stand 2008, and Kay Lee Ray vs Toni Storm on an episode of NXT UK.
