Ikeman Jiro has been released from WWE, Fightful has confirmed.
Jiro joined WWE in 2020 after six years with Wrestle-1 and would debut on TV during the May 7, 2021, episode of 205 Live.
Jiro would later team with Kushida as ‘Jacket Time’ in the 2022 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic but would not win the tournament.
Jiro last wrestled on the September 8 episode of NXT Level Up and taped a NXT Level Up dark match on September 12.
The Japanese wrestler is the latest name to be cut from WWE’s roster this week, with Emma, Dolph Ziggler, Madcap Moss, Top Dolla, and others all being cut yesterday.
