It is said that AXS wasn’t interested in carrying the IMPACT Wrestling product. Following the decline, IMPACT’s parent company, Anthem made an offer to actually purchase AXS TV. This offer was also turned down.
It is also reported that it is no coincidence that the Anthem-owned promotion just released news on their expanded partnership with Twitch. This was done in an effort to save face. IMPACT’s current network, The Pursuit Channel, has provided a bevy of problems for the long-standing alternative wrestling company:
AXS is not interested in exploring a buyout with Anthem. Things appear very unstable at Anthem Media. Employees on edge.

Forgot to mention … AXS declining interest from Impact/Anthem is the reason for the Twitch press release. An attempt to save face. The timing is no coincidence.
