It was reported several days ago on Impact Wrestling’s social media platforms that a former (TNA) Impact World Champion would return at United We Stand in the main event. As I watched Impact from the UK (covering the results), the lack of announcement was noticeable. I’m unsure if the announcement only happened on the NA broadcast (which is later), or whether Impact simply forgot to add it to the broadcast?
Later in the night, Impact posted on social media that Rob Van Dam & Sabu would be returning to the promotion at United We Stand, and they will face the current Impact World Tag Team Champions The Lucha Brothers, Pentagon Jr. and Fenix. United We Stand goes down on Wrestlemania week, Thursday 4th April at the Rahway Rec Center in New Jersey.
