According to a report from Pwinsider, the X-Division Championship Tournament match featuring Alex Zayne vs. Laredo Kid vs. Trey Miguel will open tonight’s episode of Impact Wrestling.
Impact Wrestling took to Twitter today, announcing that Sami Callihan was “attacked” backstage by Moose and W. Morrissey and suffered a leg injury. The company posted a video from the aftermath of the attack, with Callihan being stretchered out of the building and taken away in an ambulance.
As we previously reported here on eWn, Sami Callihan suffered a broken leg at the last set of Impact TV tapings and recently underwent surgery. The injury is legitimate and he’ll be out of action until at least the middle of 2022, if not longer.
