Matt Sydal def Eddie Edwards with the Shooting Star Press. A lot of action in this match. The finish came when Sydal hit a running knee to counter Eddie’s Boston Knee Party.
After the match, Davey Richards attacked Edwards with a chair on the ramp. Angelina Love also attached Alicia. Richards attempted to injure Edwards with Angelina’s help until Alicia came back an attacked her. Security broke things up.
Backstage, McKenzie interviews Magnus. He says he deserves the main event at Slammiversary. Matt Morgan interrupts and says he takes exception to Magnus just naming himself #1 contender. Bruce Pritchard comes out and breaks up the argument. He orders Magnus to defend the GFW title against Morgan tonight.

Sienna def Christie Von Eerie to become the new GFW Women’s Championship. The match was a virtual squash.
Backstage, Pritchard is talking to someone and he’s interrupted by Eli Drake who says he’s waiting for his shot. Alberto El Patron comes up behind him and they argue. Bruce makes the main event for tonight Alberto vs Eli, winner gets the GFW Title shot next week.
JB is lurking in the crowd.

Backstage, McKenzie interviews Karen Jarrett who announces the match between Alicia and Angelina Love for next week. Sienna comes out and mocks her for winning the GFW Women’s Title.
EC3 def a tomato can in a total squash. He cut a heel promo afterwards about the destruction he’s gonna leave behind.
JB is holding a sign. On one side, it says P.O.S. with an arrow and he holds it over Josh’s head. He turns it around and it says #FreeJB. The crowd directly behind the commentators continue to harass Josh.

Magnus def Matt Morgan to retain the GFW World Championship. Morgan injured is knee early on when he missed a Carbon Footprint and he hit the corner. He hit the Carbon Footprint eventually but Magnus rolled to the outside. The end came when Magnus brought the belt into the ring. The ref wrestled it from him and when his back was turned, he kicked Morgan in the nuts. He hit a driver slam and the Flying Elbow for the three count.

Backstage, McKenzie interviewed Bobby Lashley. Lashley said his belt is the only one that matters and all the guys fighting for the GFW means nothing to him.
Kongo Kong destroyed a tomato can in a squash worthy of an 80’s King Kong Bundy on a Saturday morning WWF match. Laurel Van Ness was giving him instructions throughout the match. After the match, Braxton Sutter and Allie came out. Sutter ran to the ring and fought off Kong and knocked him out of the ring.

Alberto El Patron def Eli Drake to remain the #1 contender for the GFW World Title. The end came when Eli Drake missed charge in the corner and El Patron hit a double stomp. There were a lot of counters and close calls throughout the match.
