In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer gives insight into the IMPACT Wrestling’s side of the Killer Kross situation.

Dave was clear to say that this is not an account by IMPACT Management, but maintained confidence in its accuracy:

Their feeling is Kross should have worked through his contract, and they did offer him more money (granted it wasn’t great money compared to what he may have been able to get today as a free agent, but he wasn’t a free agent). The feeling would be that if they put him on television and push him, it’s a waste because they know he’s leaving and they reward him for being unprofessional. If they put him on TV to get others over, he becomes a sympathetic character and management looks like the bad guys. The idea is that he put the company in a no win situation and they were the ones who gave him his career break. The idea is that the professional thing to do is work out the deal.

Killer Kross recently made headlines calling out Batista at BloodSport.
