Janai Kai has officially declared herself a free agent. The former MLW Women’s World Featherweight Champion took to Twitter to announce her departure from Major League Wrestling.
In her initial post, Kai wrote, “Thank you MLW. What a time. – The Kick Demon”
She later retweeted the message, confirming her free agency.
Kai joined MLW in 2023 and captured the Women’s World Featherweight Championship at MLW Slaughterhouse in October of that year. She held the title for an impressive 455 days. Her final appearance for the promotion was at MLW Battle Riot VII in April.
