Effy is paying for his actions.
The independent pro wrestling star surfaced on social media today to comment about being fined by the city of Atlanta for possession of marijuana.
He wrote the following on his official Twitter page on Thursday:
“EFFY is guilty of possessing .02 ounces of marijuana according to the city of Atlanta and must pay the fine.”
The city of Atlanta in Georgia has decriminalized possession of marijuana, however you can still be fined between $75 and $300 for possession.
Other cities in the area, such as Savannah, have also followed suit on this policy. The rest of the state of Georgia keeps marijuana possession as a misdemeanor crime, with a punishment of up to a year in jail and a fine of as much as $1,000.
