“Pretty” Peter Avalon may have signed a new contract with AEW. This comes after a report from Fightful has revealed that “as of mid-December, Peter Avalon’s deal was set to expire over the next few weeks.”
The report noted that several of AEW’s original contracts are expected to expire in the near future. Avalon was one of these names. When both Avalon and AEW were contacted to find out the current status and whether or not the deal has been extended, renewed or expired, Avalon did not respond. AEW noted that they don’t discuss talent contracts. For what it’s worth, there were internal plans for Avalon to appear at an upcoming AEW: Dark taping. Avalon was pulled from a planned booking at Zicky Dice’s Outlandish Paradise, with a future appearance on Dark in mind.
1/4 of The Wingmen alongside Cezar Bononi, Ryan Nemeth & JD Drake, Avalon was first announced as a member of the AEW roster in 2019.
