Darren Young suffered an injury in a match against Epico at the WWE Main Event tapings in Little Rock, Arkansas that took place prior to Raw back in January. Young took a nasty fall off the apron during his match with Epico, and he immediately grabbed his arm.
The belief at the time is that Young popped his shoulder or his elbow. The match was stopped immediately after the ref and doctor at ringside realized that Young was legitimately hurt. Young was favoring his arm as he walked to the backstage area with Bob Backlund. The WWE Superstar ended up suffering an elbow injury and had to undergo surgery earlier this year in Birmingham, Alabama.
Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Young has been cleared by doctors to return to in-ring action. He had his evaluation this week and passed.
