As we noted earlier on the site, former Raw Tag Team Champion Jeff Hardy is dealing with a “significant shoulder injury” that may require surgery. Originally, Jeff was supposed to wrestle Karl Anderson at Friday’s WWE live event. However, he was replaced by his brother, Matt. He did not wrestle at any WWE live events this past weekend.
Dave Meltzer noted on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that Jeff’s injury occurred during the 30 minute Iron Man match at the Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view in July, and that he has been working with it for over two months. He’s expected to have his shoulder examined this week by doctors.
